 Bridge the gap of understanding between the youth and adults in your home. Confront personal challenges as a family via a customized treatment plan to move your household from dysfunctional to super-functional.

Family & Youth Coaching

Bridge the gap of understanding between the youth and adults in your home. Confront personal challenges as a family via a customized treatment plan to move your household from dysfunctional to super-functional.

In psychology, there are four stages of understanding progressing from incompetence to competence. In stage 1, we are initially unaware of how little we know, or unconscious of our incompetence. As we recognize their incompetence, we also consciously acquire new skill and capability. Eventually, the learned skill can be mastered to the point of unconscious competence. The Hidden Rules guides clients from stage 1 or 2 to stage 4 in relationships.

03. CONSCIOUS COMPETENCE
I know how to do "something," but I must focus or I might forget.

04. UNCONSCIOUS COMPETENCE
I have so much practice in "something," that it has become second nature to me.

01. UNCONSCIOUS INCOMPETENCE
I am unaware of what I do not know.

02. CONSCIOUS INCOMPETENCE
I am aware that there is something that I do not know, yet I do not know how to perform that "something."

What results should I expect?

Maybe you are tired of online dating websites or apps. Maybe you want the best for your children but they don't seem to be on the same page. Or perhaps you are in a marriage that ranks O.K. (at best) on most days and you know that you can both do better.
With The Hidden Rules™ coaching and counseling, you will:
- Create a positive environment that supports satisfying relationships;
- Receive constructive criticism that results in positive behavior changes, rather than anger and resentment;
- Deal effectively with relationship limiting behaviors;
- Develop solid relationships with others that will compliment all aspects of your life.

What types of assesments will be performed?

The first assesment that you will complete is provided after your intitial consultation. Often times, we sweep our history under the rug without realizing the impact it has on our present - The Hidden Rules™ starts where the problem started, so we can identify workable solutions.

Is there a difference between counseling and coaching?

Yes. There is a difference. The objective of counseling is to help people address and resolve problems that make them feel bad emotionally, or are impairing their ability to function well. The objective of coaching is to help people achieve their goals. We offer either counseling or coaching on a case-by-case basis.

How long will I need your services?

The length of the program is different for everyone but can range from two months to 1 year. Some decide to keep in touch longer.

What is included in the FREE mini-consultation?

Your FREE mini-consultation will be a quick call, lasting no more than 15 minutes. You'll tell us what is concerning you. In this call, we'll determine if we are a good fit for eachother.
